I made it because I had to bring a dessert to a family gathering and I happened to have all of the ingredients in the house, but I eyeballed everything. I'm moving, so everything was packed up. I had a stand mixer, a spatula, and 50 years of cooking experience to tell me what a cup or a teaspoon of something looks like. It was fine. It isn't going to rock your world with unique taste explosions or wow you with its innovative genius, but it does take you to a fluffy, happy place. I left out the booze because I don't have any in the house, but the coffee dunk is enough. Will I make it again? Sure. It comes together in 10 minutes and you can make it on autopilot. I like that it doesn't have eggs in it because whipped cream is a lot easier to deal with than that whole egg ritual regular tiramisu has. When you're under stress and have to pretend to be human for a little while, it makes life a lot easier.
