This is straight up lunchbox tuna salad. It's "plain" but that is what I was after. Made the recipe to the letter with a couple exceptions. Our tuna comes in 5oz cans so we were light on the tuna by a sixth. Added a little extra lemon juice and a pinch of salt on top of the 1/4 tsp. Last, we used just over a 1/4 cup of mayo. As I read the ingredients I wondered if that half cup was a typo because that would have been super wet.
Overall, we enjoyed the tuna as a melt with Swiss and dill pickle spears on the side. I don't have any Wonder bread unfortunately because that would have made tomorrow's lunch perfect!
