Really tasty! This is basically a bread and butter pudding so it's hard to go wrong. I didn't have stale croissants so I used brioche and that worked well. One thing I'd change next time is that I would not use a quick release tin, or any kind of tin with a removable bottom. The egg mixture leaks out! I'm sure this would bake just fine in a brownie pan or possibly even a glass dish. The only downside to that is that you couldn't remove the cake from the tin to present it, but we basically devoured it right out of the tin anyway so it didn't matter to us 😆
