This is a somewhat involved recipe with two different components (dough and filling) that need to be prepared separately, then you're separating out little dough discs and spooning filling before sealing it up to bake. It's a fun thing to try if you haven't done so before! My date filling came out drier than it looks in the recipe photos - I have a feeling that's because I was using quite dry British-supermarket-dates, so if that's you too then maybe adjust the liquid to compensate. Also, don't expect them to spread in the oven! I did, and ended up with spherical biscuits 😂 I can imagine that you could play around with the fillings here!
