I made this for America 250 today, and it was a true crowd pleaser. Because of the amount I was making, along with 40 pounds of St. Louis Ribs and enough potato salad to last until next year 😎 I made a couple of changes. I used 4 #10 cans of canned navy beans, 2# of salt pork, chopped, 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 4 onions chopped, a jar of molasses and 1# of brown sugar. Show cooked it on the Vulcan range for 4 hours, and then added just a cup of ketchup towards the end. And it was a hit! Sweet but tasted just like Boston Baked Beans. Bush Family, move over!
