This will make it into the regular rotation of meals. My family LOVED this recipe.
While my family loves heat, I am not a spicy girl so I left out the jalapeños. I did add half a can of refried beans with diced green chilies to thicken it a little (family preference on chili) the flavor and texture was perfect. I may add a can of diced green chilies in place of the jalapeños next time.
I also double the ingredients so we could have leftovers and we ate it over baked potatoes.
