Seriously, do NOT boil the noodles. I did the first time I made it because I worried that there wouldn't be enough liquid to adequately cook the regular lasagna noodles I prefer, but it was insipid and bland. The second time, I put regular lasagna noodles in raw and it was much more flavorful. This is never going to be a favorite recipe for me because my lasagna cravings are usually satisfied with one meal and this recipe makes three meals for me and my partner, but it does freeze well.
