I substituted broccoli and portabella mushrooms for the snow peas and celery, simply because it's what I had. I also added black pepper and combined the garlic and red pepper with the sauce instead of throwing it in with the veggies. I had lo mein noodles, so I used them instead of spaghetti. My husband and I both thought you could definitely use this recipe with chicken or shrimp as well. It's very versatile.
