I was curious about adding flour to make a batter and now I won't make french toast any other way! Used week-old Sara Lee Artesano golden wheat bread. They came out light, moist, and custardy, even after keeping warm in the oven.
It may just be me, but I have had a hard time beating the eggs, milk, and cinnamon together to make an even mixture. Never thought about blending everything together, so no more french toast with streaks of egg white!
