I’ve made a lot of chocolate chip cookies in my years and this recipe is by far the best. It’s the type of chocolate chip cookie that you think of when someone says chocolate chip cookie. It’s chewy NOT airy and cakey. It’s also packed full of flavor. The best part is it’s a no fuss recipe! My old favorite recipe involved both cake flour and bread flour to help achieve the chewy texture. Plus it needed several hours of refrigeration. It was definitely not a spur of the moment cookie. But these are simple. The dough also freezes well so you can pop a few in the oven when you have a craving. Hands down this is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe.
