My only tweaks were adding a teaspoon of vanilla and omitting the salt because my butter was salted. Other than that, everything came out delicious. Too often have I tried pancake recipes that came out bland. This is not one of them. It's a perfect balance for a perfect pancake.
Also, it is a recipe that could be modified easily based on diet and/or preferences. Sometimes I add chocolate chips in the mix for the kids. (I don't mix the chips in. I pour the batter in the skillet, top with the chips then cover them with batter so they don't burn or melt in the pan.)
