Followed the other suggestions for less brown sugar (2 packed tbsps). Actually I think it would be fine with 3.
Didn’t have hoisin sauce so put in 2 tbsp of Korean gochujang sauce (not paste) and a chicken bouillon cube since I had no stock…accidently dissolved the entire cute which made it salty so next time I think I would omit the stock and just add water. Added shredded carrots and green onion at the end which gave it a kick.
Kids loved it regardless of the saltiness.
