Cooked to perfection (5lb bird). I used the recommended substitution for the seasoning blend, and would up the salt and pepper. Cooked just to the recipe and it was yummy. Only warning is even if it isn't smoking, cooking at that high of a temp with butter involved might set off the smoke alarm (did briefly with mine). Not a problem, though, and it was so yummy even my bone-in meat hating husband liked it!
