Picture is precooked but we had to try some before we popped it into the oven and omg def creamy and cheesy. I did 1 with bacon and 1 without but not sure if I am the only one or not but I ended up with too much of the cheese sauce (kept adding and adding but didn't want it to drown in it either) so I might tweak it to make it slightly less milk and heavy whipping cream next time and might not do so much butter (more for preference since I could really only taste the butter) might also put more smoked gouda (had left over from my deviled eggs so put it in) than the gruyere cheese
But overall delicious and my sisters were obsessed
