This was delicious! I've never precooked the potatoes on the stovetop, but it works beautifully. I added about 2 cups of cubed ham that was leftover from Christmas dinner and substituted half and half for the heavy cream. Provolone and cheddar were perfect for this recipe. I'm thinking that I will add some red pepper flakes and paprika the next time I make this. Very creamy and cheesy. My family loved it!
