I have mixed feelings. I made a few mods to boost flavor (2 kinds of rice cooked in low sodium broth), and it still felt pretty bland. It also felt a little too busy with so many things. I feel like it doesn't need the sweet potatoes and you could increase the other veggies (and unsweetened cranberries) a bit. Technique is a little goofy too - you basically cook everything then mix it together and bake it. I think it has potential but didn't love it as written.

How much dry rice did you measure out? I have a theory that folks are using too much rice because they're measuring the 6 cups of rice out dry instead of cooked (which is 2c or 1lb dry) and that much rice is sapping the flavor from the dish.

Hi Michael - I read the comments about rice. I cooked 1/2 cup dry wild rice and 1/2 cup dry jasmine rice. I felt like the amount of rice this came out to was about right. Plenty of rice but not MOSTLY rice.
