I followed the directions to the T, and it wasn't good, even though I love all of these ingredients and use them often.
I cooked the chicken sous vide, then shredded it, added the garlic and paprika, then transferred it to the casserole pan. The dimensions weren't defined for some reason, so I used an 11x7.
I made the cream cheese/heavy cream/chicken stock mixture, then evenly distributed it on top, put my jalapeno strips on that were also cut in half to form bite size pieces. I then measured the cheese and evenly distributed it on top.
8 slices of bacon were cooked, crumbled, then put on top after 15 minutes of baking, then I let it bake for an extra 5 minutes as per the directions.
This was very bland, the jalapenos were crunchy, and the bottom of the pan had a ton of juice, presumably from the chicken. I'll try it again, but I think the jalapenos should first be roasted, and the dish, overall, needs more flavor.
I'll definitely be making some adjustments.
