I really liked this recipe, but I did goof it up. I accidentally used 4 cups of water instead of six. It was a little salty and a little tiny bit underdone. They're actually still good as is, but I look forward to trying again with the proper proportions. Or I might use low sodium broth instead. These beat the heck out of canned refried beans and the recipe was easy (if you bother to read it. Lol).
