← Replies in Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo Tortellini Recipe
This is so super delicious, I could literally eat this several times a week!! I wasn't sure if the 1.5lbs of chicken breasts that the recipe called for would be enough for my family of 4, so I used a 2.75lb package of chicken breasts and probably double the tortellini. So to ensure it stayed creamy, I added to the crock about a 1/4 cup of heavy cream and one 8oz block of cream cheese with the chicken and Alfredo sauce, and cooked it. After adding the tortellini, I stirred in the recommended spices, remaining Alfredo, and about 1/4 cup of sour cream. I had some shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and garlic & herb croutons that I set out for toppings if anyone desired, and I served it with a side of cut green Italian beans. Perfect dinner!!!
