When I first tasted the sauce in the recipe I panicked because I thought I might have covid, this was due to the taste. In fact, it was so bland that it was a negative taste. I added more nooch, salt and pepper, onion powder, extra lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper. The filling is mainly leek, which isn't really a Vege crumble, so I did extra (larger) tatties. The topping was also non, so in the last five minutes, I threw some crushed vegan bacon crisps on top.
All in all, the idea of this dish is great, but make up your own cheese sauce and add more to the filling.
