Only used 3/4 cup brown sugar and added fresh orange juice to the batter along with orange zest and 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger because I felt extra fancy 💅
I decided to just add more chocolate chips to the top instead of melting the chocolate. And despite what the recipe says, you can totally bake this in an 8x8 pan. Your bars will be thicker and there will be less of them obviously, but they came out great for me.
