This is my favorite banana muffin recipe. They turn out yummy every time! I usually leave out the nuts for the picky eaters in our house. Sometimes I use honey or maple syrup instead of sugar. I do cut the sugar amount a little, closer to 1/2 cup. They still taste sweet enough to us. Don't overfill the muffin cups, as the recipe makes just enough batter for a dozen regular sized muffins.
