Absolutely love this recipe!! It taste great! :D
A few changes I did was that I didn't have chicken breasts, fresh herbs, or fresh turmeric. I substituted the chicken breasts for raw, no skin chicken tenders (0.7 lbs for 6 servings was good for me instead of 1 lb). Then used dried rosemary and thyme; along with using powdered turmeric. I did use freshly grated ginger and next time, I will definitely try this recipe with fresh turmeric as well!
Another thing to note, definitely add a few more cups of broth to the soup! Even though I do like more broth in my soup, it is definitely true that the pearl couscous soaks it up overnight if you have leftovers.
