More reminiscent of a banana or zucchini bread than a cake.
I think the type of oranges you use definitely make a difference. We had naval oranges on hand so that’s what I used and they muddied the color a bit rather than the vibrant orange from the pictures.
I dusted with powdered sugar and garnished with walnuts, but a glaze or a frosting would have been the better choice.
