Forgot to take a photo before we all dug in! First time making a pumpkin roll and it turned out great. Everyone at Thanksgiving loved it.
I did follow the advice of some of the comments and added powdered sugar to the towel before flipping the cake onto it. Also, do not use wax paper. I think the original post creator mixed that up with parchment. I had a silicone mat that I used instead and it worked perfectly. I am thinking of trying this recipe out with sweet potato puree as well.
