This has been my go-to for years. Easy and tasty. I use cream (half and half, table, heavy) rather then the evaporated milk, with excellent results. I’ve bolstered it with broccoli and cubed ham on occasion to make it a main dish. Pre-shredded cheddar works well, but to elevate this to the next level, get a good quality cheddar and shred it yourself. I have a 3/4 cup bag of lobster meat in the freezer just waiting for my next batch.
