The prep took me about 40 minutes, but I have an electric stove, so no instant heat. I scaled it down to 2 servings and there are leftovers for lunch tomorrow, which I'm going to have to thumb wrestle my partner over, they're that good. The sauce wound up a little thick, but I let it down with a bit more homemade stock and it was superb. Adjust the spices to taste - I omitted the garlic - but I found the nutmeg and alspice amounts perfect. Lovely recipe!
