The YouTube video shows her using a generous amount of oil. I put in 2T of flaxseed oil and sautéed the veggies. Diced the onions and chopped down the broccoli into florets. With the oil, the recipe for four became 179 calories per my LoseIt! App. With only 1 cup of water, I put it all in a blender and probably blended too much. It then became more of a paste. Put in a second cup of water. And made it a 6 serving recipe in my app. Down to 119 calories a serving. That’s about a 3/4 cup a serving. I’m sure I’ll have a cup serving, so probably 150 calories. Next time, I won’t blend it so much. May use a stick blender in the pot, but it will still need more water. I may add a third cup. This will be a lo-cal go-to for me. 8grams of fiber, which is important at my age. The peas give it some protein—5-6 grams depending on the serving. Lastly, I used miso paste which might have less sodium than powdered miso. Just guessing.
