Wow, this is wonderful! I did need to turn up the heat higher than medium to get my mixture to thicken, but after that it worked like a dream. I felt like the butter on top of the pie was a lot, to the point that once it was done under the broiler, I took a paper towel to the edge to let it absorb what I could before it cooled. It tasted so creamy and delicious! Will most certainly make it again!
