This bread has been a failure twice for me now. I wanted to love this recipe, I wanted to bask in a beautiful loaf of French bread but the ratio of ingredients seems to be off. Extremely liquify dough, and the sourdough start is too much; the whole loaf tastes too sour, and extremely flat. I won’t be trying it again, but I may add a touch of amaranth flour to other recipes “for authenticity.”
