The matcha tea mixed with the milk is bland as I expected, it tasted pretty bitter until I added some honey to sweeten it, I would suggest just using sugar instead though or mixing the honey with the matcha/water to dissolve first instead of what I did which was mix it in over the ice it clumped at the bottom. Overall it's a decent drink.

Thanks for the note! If you want to add sweetener, you can use honey, as you suggest, or use a simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar, dissolved). Different matcha powders can also affect the overall flavor. Thanks for trying the recipe!

Thanks for trying the recipe! I find that if you need to sweeten it, adding a simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water) is the best way to incorporate it into the drink.
