This is so good. I doubled the recipe because I love freezing left overs in our souper cubes. I used a Merlot in this; I felt the ratio to wine and broth was pretty fair contrary of other reviewers but hey - I love wine and work in the wine industry so I guess I'm biased. This is definitely a keeper! Thinking of adding small diced potatoes next time. I also forgot to get tomato paste so I used about a half can of tomato sauce immediately while cooking the veggies and it reduced down enough to work.
