Taste wise it was alright however the texture was too sticky. Next time will add more berries and almond milk. Maybe replace the peanut butter with ground nuts.

Correct, it is an addition according to personal preferences. Adding peanut butter is quite common for recipes like this one and since the accompanying picture showed it, I went along with it. I've made this a few times now and actually never left it out but played around with the overall texture.
