Ehh...in theory this is a good idea and it did actually taste really good. I would make it again but with some definite tweaks. Ours was WAY too soupy for my liking and I even drained the tomatoes some. It read more like a loose spaghetti dish than pizza. Next time I will drain the tomato's completely and/or use tomato paste or some sort of thickener to make it less so. I also liked the sauce to top the zucchini spirals instead of them mixed in. Make sure you also drain those well and press out excess liquid. I added a bit of shredded mozzarella cheese along with the olive and fresh basil topping. Dish was also way too salty for me. Not sure if our fresh sausage was oversalted or I accidentally added too much but I will be mindful of that next time as well.
