One 15-ounce can of tomato sauce. Don't buy anything with a ton of salt or unnecessary spices in it. Just the plainest stuff you can find.
One 15-ounce can of chickpeas, drained, is fine. If you have a food processor, just pulse them a couple times so two-thirds of them are kinda chopped up. Otherwise just kinda rough-chop them with a knife to about the size of a watermelon seed.
