So, so good! We cooked it on the stove top, and allowed it to simmer an hour longer than the recipe said and it turned out amazing. It's savory, flavorful, and gives that "comfort food" feeling. Perfect for cold days. We didn't have soy sauce on hand, but the recipe tasted fine without it. We added a little bit more Worcestershire sauce to compensate, and we really like that flavor. Doesn't call for red wine, but we thought adding a Cabernet Sauvignon next time might be a tasty addition.
