Please ignore the half eaten cookie xD These are absolutely delicious. It's my 2nd time making them - I use blackcurrent jam instead of apple sauce because that's what I have and it's absolutely delicious. I also didn't add any chocolate chips this time as my brother ate them all. Imo they aren't necessary at all, though they do taste nicer with them. They're very soft straight out of the oven, and that's how I prefer to eat them. They harden over time outside of it but I don't like the texture as much.
