For convenience I use rotisserie chicken. I also use the parmesan truffle seasoning mix in lieu of adding the garlic/salt/pepper spices. To add depth to the taste, I put in 1 Tbs mustard or horse radish, 2 Tbs worcestshire sauce, 1/4 c white wine, and swap out the heavy cream for healthier milk/cheese. All of these mods are done at the end-of-cooking stage. I also sautee mushrooms before adding in the pasta noodles if I have any in stock.
