My husband loves this recipe, he claims it's better than olive garden by far. It's a little more expensive than a can but he claims it's the best recipe for Alfredo sauce and it's worth it. We always make a double batch and eat it for two days. I discovered that you can buy parmesan cheese already shredded and that helps or sometimes I put it into my food processor. You can really taste the cheese, and it will solidify in the fridge. You can warm it up easily in the microwave tho. We have discovered that if we use rotini pasta the sauce clings to it and that's how we eat it now!
