Ive made these a lot, this last time I added about 1/4 cup of rolled oats and a tsb of cinnamon into the mix. Tasty. I also typically chill mine, but they are fine to bake right away as well. Ive also frozen some before the holidays and they taste just as good. They arent my favorite cookies but they are easy and taste better than anything store bought. Especially when fresh. When i make them I often bake them over the course of a few days, in batches, so we have fresh warm cookies for a few days. it also allows me to chill the dough longer for added flavor. 🤭
