I totally did my own thing with this recipe. I used yellow tail caught and canned by our neighbor. I used yellow bell pepper and did not sauté that nor the onion. I only had one egg so I added another tablespoon of mayo. I did not breadcrumb the cakes but fried them without that step. They turned out amazing! Great with sweet chili sauce (Thai style).
