They are very healthy and taste as such. They taste mostly of oatmeal with a slight banana flavor. Pleasant texture, surprisingly moist and they stay together well. I cooked at 350 F for 25 minutes.
Definitely add more spices, a pinch of salt, and at least one add-in like dried fruit, nuts, blueberries, or chocolate chips. Maybe citrus zest if you're feeling fancy.
I used chopped dates, pumpkin pie spice, a pinch of ground cloves, and a splash of vanilla. I also added 2 TB of brown sugar because my bananas weren't quite ripe.
It's a good filling breakfast or snack for those trying to cut down on sugar.
