I thought this would be an easy set it and forget it recipe. Unfortunately the newer instant pots have a safety future that shuts it off if there isn’t enough liquid in the pot. I had to really toy with it to find what setting to put it on so it would stop shutting off. Finally I got it on the rice setting. It was a little overdone at the end because this was the 3rd setting a tried. But the texture turned out exactly as described. A crispy top with a slightly dense and chewy inside. I would definitely want to try doing this again with the correct setting right off the bat. It was so delicious and I split it with my partner and still couldn’t finish it because of how filling it is!
