My mess-free trick for flattening the chicken breasts. We don’t own a meat tenderizer, but we have a huge ice cream scoop that hubby likes to use to flatten. Instead of wax paper or plastic wrap, I placed the breasts between my two silicone quarter sheet pan liners and pounded away. This would work with the flat side of a tenderizer tool as well, but I wouldn’t risk using the textured side to avoid damaging the silicone liners.
