We thought there was no way it would roll, but it did! The frosting was messy when we tried to re-roll it, but it was probably a mistake on our part. At the end of the day, you decorate it with powdered sugar (we added cluizel chocolate mushrooms to decorate) and it looks like a cute decomposing log even if it seems like it's about to all fall apart.
Definitely becoming a Christmas tradition :)
