I could not for the life of me find saffron, so I did a turn with the seasonings. I added thyme, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and bay leaves. Took the bay leaves out after 10 minutes, pureed about 3/4ths of the soup before putting the orzo in. I completely spaced and forgot to make the croutons lol!
