I played with this by using 3/4 cup WW flour, 1/2 cup AP flour and 1/4 cup cornmeal, which made them light and crisp. Also used safflower oil (instead of butter), 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 1/4 tsp each cardamom + nutmeg, and no chocolate. Wolfed down by the family.
