Best mac & cheese I've ever tasted!! The gruyere cheese was expensive & hard to come by, but as an occasional potluck recipe, it's worth it!

If you have an Aldi near you they have a gruyere and swiss shredded blend that's not expensive plus they have the thick shred white cheddar 🧀 too
