It's great when you're in a pinch.. I forgot to unfreeze a protein for dinner. So i wanted a shrimp recipe since they thaw fast. This worked out great. I did change a few things. I had the shrimp marinade with butter and some seasonings (thyme, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne) before adding them. Im not a huge fan of the heat, so i only did a pinch of cayenne, and I used apple gouda sausages that I got from a local butcher. I added rice in the recipe to soak up that extra liquid, and it was perfect.
