This recipe was simple and lovely. I didn’t want to roll it much so I made it rectangular, hope that doesn’t break some rule lol.
Our local store had a deal on strawberries only. Just pulling it out of the oven I was struck by the other gorgeous fruit possibilities. The filling set perfectly, so if you’re like me and you get worried at the liquid in the berry mixture, rest assured it all works out in the end. I did do one slight variation. I had some zest left so I mixed it with some sugar for the bottom of the galette.
I cannot wait to try this, but it looks so pretty.
